"Anime Crossbones" is an ongoing project where I take anime pop culture icons and turn them into skull and crossbones designs. Each illustration tells the unique story of each character through the items used to create the crossbones. Inspired by vintage Japanese packaging and manga, I employ weathered paper textures, limited color palettes, and screentones to achieve this distinctive aesthetic.
